Dr. Shen received his medical degree at Brown University and his undergraduate degree at the University of California, Los Angeles. After an internship at Brown University, Dr. Shen completed his dermatology training at Boston University. A member of the American Academy of Dermatology, Dr. Shen is an expert in non-invasive topical immunotherapy to treat skin cancers and precancers. 

Researchers at the University of Miami have found Dr. Shen's combination of topical medicines, known as "The Shen Cocktail," to have a cure rate of 99% for basal cell and squamous cell carcinoma. Several papers are being published on this topic.  Born in Taiwan, Dr. Shen is conversant in Chinese. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, hiking, and spending time with his family.
